Norfolk is close to Virginia Beach, Colonial Williamsburg, and within driving distance of Washington, D.C., OBX, and Charlottesville. Federal and Victorian architecture can be found in the downtown Norfolk Historic District, where there are homes built in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
