Summit Home Inspections – Virginia Beach

The city of Virginia Beach has much to offer its citizens and anyone planning to move to the area. There are many great public-school districts, restaurants that specialize in fresh seafood (make sure to try the she-crab soup), and various neighborhoods to choose from. Croatan, Bay Colony, North End, Kempsville, Shadow Lawn, Thoroughgood, Chic’s Beach, and the list goes on. There is a high transient population because of the military. There are large industries that employ many of our citizens including Stihl Chainsaws.

Situated on the Atlantic Ocean, there are miles of beach and hotels in the popular destination resort. Virginia Beach also has a 3-mile long boardwalk that spans the beach from 37th St. – 3rd St. lined with hotels and restaurants and free concerts in the warmer months. Popular entertainment and educational destinations include the Virginia Marine Science Museum, Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, Mount Trashmore, Ocean Breeze Waterpark, and Cape Henry Lighthouse. The outdoor enthusiast can take advantage of both state and federal designated land. For instance, there is False Cape State Park which is connected to Back Bay Wildlife Refuge. First Landing State Park also offers biking and hiking and wildlife observation. The State Parks also have camping. Our miles of beaches offer beautiful walks, fishing, swimming, surfing, and boating.
